Acne Treatment
Baking soda, honey, and water is all you need to fight acne. Follow the recipe above, apply, and leave on for 15 minutes. You will not believe the results after you rinse.
Teeth Whitener
½ teaspoon of baking soda plus one mashed up strawberry equals a natural teeth whitener that is effective and safe.

Your hairbrush gets gummed up with oil and hair product over time. Take a large bowl of warm water and mix in three tablespoons of baking soda. Soak your brush in this and rinse to clean it.
Facial Scrub
Just add a tablespoon of baking soda to your normal facial cleanser to form a paste. Massage the paste into your skin in circular motions to exfoliate and leave your skin feeling soft.
Nail Cleaner
Mix 3 tablespoons of baking soda, 1 tablespoon of 3% food-grade peroxide, and a little hot water to create a paste-like consistency. Then use an organic cotton swab to apply the mixture to all the nails on one hand, then the other. Leave on for 3-5 minutes. Then wash clean. This should remove nail polish stains or other stains from your fingernails.
Chlorine Removal from Hair
If you love swimming in your local pool, chances are you have severe chlorine build up or discoloration. Mix one part baking soda with one part Dr. Bronner’s soap to create a cleanser that will remove chlorine buildup from your hair. Make sure to follow up with a good organic conditioner. This cleanser will leave your hair super clean and a little dry.
